Joules Webb

Joules Webb has a passion and expertise for computing and cybersecurity education gained over twenty years of experience working in education, non-profit, and industry roles. Joules was a member of the Texas Computer Science Task force instrumental in promoting a cybersecurity pathway for secondary students. For two years in a row, Joules helped Medina Valley High School earn accolades for recruiting the largest number of female participants from a single campus in the Sans Institute GirlsGo CyberStart game and competition. Joules teaches Cybersecurity, Computer Science, and Physics at Medina Valley High School. She coaches the school’s CyberPatriot Open Division teams, UIL Computer Science team, and beginning in 2019-2020, the Science Olympiad Codebusters team. In addition, Joules serves as a code.org Computer Science Principles teacher professional development facilitator and co-PI for two NASA grants.
