Frank Hall
Fredrick Hall is from Baltimore, Maryland and joined the US Army shortly after graduating
high school. His job in the Army was Information Systems Operator. He worked at many
different levels in information technology (I.T.): helpdesk technician, system administrator,
domain administrator, firewall engineer, exchange administrator, and domain/enterprise
administrator. He has been stationed in the United Kingdom, Mons, Belgium at NATO Supreme
Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (S.H.A.P.E.), The US Army War College, Fort Sam
Houston, and South Korea.
In his civilian career Fredrick has been a network defense operator, worked in cyber operations,
enterprise administrator, and currently as a network engineer. In his off time, he is a merit badge
counselor for Boy Scouts of America for Digital Technology and Cyber Safety. Fredrick
volunteers as a CyberPatriot coach for Medina Valley High School, Warren High School’s
AFJROTC, and through the Hondo Public Library in Hondo, Texas and also teaches
the CyberPatriot CyberGenrations cyber safety course for senior citizens. He is a member on the
Texas CS Task Force and WeTeach_CS program of The University of Texas at Austin’s Center
for STEM Education and a member of the Texas Education Agency’s Information Technology
Advisory Council.
